Weatherwash POLYURETHANE: How to Apply
Weatherwash's POLYURETHANES can be applied use either an atomized paint brush,paint sprayer or squeegee.Polyurethanes are perfect for large surface application, like floors.
- Clear, Satin Sheen

BRUSH MATERIALS
- Good quality synthetic brush or a stiff sponge brush (preferred)
- Do not thin.

SPRAY MATERIALS
- Gravity sprayer
- Atomized Gun
- Thin materials up to 10% with water

BRUSH APPLICATION
PREPARATION
Professional mix or stir Varnish for 60 seconds. Make sure to re-incorporate materials that may have settled to the bottom of the can.
BRUSH APPLICATION
Use a good quality brush or a sponge brush to apply varnish. Sponge brush is preferredApply Varnish in the direction of the wood grain (follow the stripes in the wood).
- Varnish is self leveling.
- Make sure to really cover and split ends and wood imperfections.
- Work in sections on large projects, keeping a wet edge as you move.
- Wet varnish may look slightly blue or purple, but will dry clear.
DRY TIMEAllow the wood to dry between coats, dry time approx. 30 minutes.
RE-COAT
Apply 2-4 coats of polyurethane, for superior protection on any high-use areas in home, like table, cabinetry, millwork, floors, etc. Re-apply second coat within 2-4 hours of applying first coat or after 24 hours.
CLEAN UP
Easy soap and water clean up.
CURE TIME
Allow it to dry for 7-10 days before light use.Wait 30 days before full use.

SPRAY GUN APPLICATION
PREPARATION
Professional mix or stir Polyurethane for 60 seconds. Make sure to re-incorporate materials that may have settled to the bottom of the can.Thin polyurethane up to 10% with water, prior using in a sprayer. Now product is suitable for spraying.
SPRAYER APPLICATION
Load diluted product into spray gun.Apply using broad sweeping motion and overlapping streams.

- Work in sections on large projects, keeping a wet edge as you move.
- Wet varnish may look slightly blue or purple, but will dry clear.
